I'm taking a moment to consider the progress of this project over the course of the month.  I'm writing this on the 29th, but the file is dated 25.  this is the third or fourth time I have fallen behind be as many days, which indicates that nearly half the days in January were non-compliant with the 100 words a day guideline.  I believe this project has failed because it is not focused.  There are in fact 3 seperate challenges disguised as one:
  1.  Develop a ritual: something every day
  2.  Learn to write better
  3.  Come up with many innane topics about which to write.
